About Me

I offer a caring, down-to-earth and practical approach to birthing and early parenting. My experience and knowledge as a midwife and Maternal and Child Health nurse equip me for this work, and being a mother of five enables me to understand the experience of new parenthood. I have supported families in many birthing settings and from many backgrounds. 

Four main reasons why I do this work:
* I love working with families as they learn and plan for a forthcoming birth. 
* I love the anticipation as the birth date approaches. 
* I love the strength I see in women and their partners during labour and birth. 
* I love supporting families in the early weeks at home.
