This weekly Pregnancy Yoga & Connection Circle is open to those currently pregnant and new with babies that are looking to honour themselves their babies in body, breath, strength, information, nurturing, connection, sharing, and support.
For those pregnant, it is an environment where you can tune-in to your baby and the journey that is unfolding and make conscious decisions about the directions you take.
For those going through the 4th trimester, this is an opportunity for some post-natal 'you-time' of movement and meditation.
All sessions include an optional connection circle after the yoga that is rich in what you share, question and receive.
Classes combine gentle postures, breath work, meditation and relaxation giving you tools to improve your sense of well-being and calm, reducing stress & anxiety.

Held by Katie Ferguson (prenatal Yoga Instructor) and Jo Askham (Childbirth Educator, Doula & permanent student of birth) in a gentle organic way. We will endeavour to address any concerns, feelings and questions that are brought into the class and circle with options, honesty and compassion.

About Katie Ferguson:
The mother of three young children, Katie understands the mental, emotional and physical demands of being pregnant. Katie has been practising yoga for over 15 years and has qualifications and training in Prenatal Hatha Yoga, Conscious Birthing, Kundalini Yoga and Radiant Child Yoga. Pregnancy Yoga offers a nurturing space for you and your baby to strengthen your bond and precious time in your week that is dedicated to self-nurture.
About Jo Askham
Doula and bringer of community to life and birth through support, events, knowledge, and advocacy. Jo moonlights in the day as a student, website concocter, administrative consultant, and organises a broad range of birth & family events, camps, workshops, yoga, and support circles. Her connection to yoga and then to teaching came through the pregnancies of her 3 children and the witnessing of the amazing value of the practice in many birthing women.

'Thank you so much to both Katie and Jo for facilitating such a beautiful and nurturing space during my pregnancy. About half of the sessions were in person and half over Zoom due to Covid but they were able to continue to provide a supportive environment online.
